AW Maritime is proud to be the lead consultant for the St Leonards Pier Rebuild Project for Parks Victoria. Located on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria on Wadawurrung Sea Country, St Leonards Pier is a valued community asset and a focal point for locals and visitors alike—supporting fishing, scuba diving, snorkelling, swimming, and promenading. AW Maritime has been working with North Projects and Tract Consultants to deliver a new pier design underpinned by strong design principles, value engineering, and a commitment to durability and sustainable development. The new pier will include a low landing and diver access stairs, enhancing functionality through improved water access. Importantly, the design will meet Australian accessibility standards to ensure the pier can be enjoyed by everyone. AW Maritime is responsible for the maritime structural, geotechnical, landscape architecture and electrical design, authority approvals, cost estimating, and technical support during the tender and construction phases.
