AW Maritime is proud to have recently delivered a Parks Victoria project at Queenscliff Cut, a man‑made boating channel supporting safe navigation in the region.
Our team developed a design focused on:
🔹 Enhancing navigational safety by minimising debris risks
🔹 Protecting the shoreline from ongoing erosion driven by currents and rising sea levels
🔹 Mitigating subsidence and managing embankment stability
To achieve this, AWM designed a rock revetment solution, utilising locally available materials to deliver a cost‑effective and durable coastal protection system.
The project also included the methodology for demolition of the existing timber wall and a suite of tailored construction approaches that carefully considered:
✔ Heritage and environmental constraints
✔ Permit requirements
✔ Local site knowledge
✔ Seawall and coastal construction
Proudly delivered by our Geelong-based team, this project reflects AWM’s commitment to providing practical, resilient solutions for complex coastal challenges.
