AW Maritime was engaged to undertake the detailed design of the retaining wall along the northern marina boundary in Yarina Marina, located in the north west corner of WesternPort Bay. This included scoping and coordinating site investigations and obtaining quotes for client review. A geotechnical investigation was completed to inform the design, and AWM subsequently carried out both the geotechnical and structural design of the retaining wall. As part of the deliverables, AWM prepared Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings, general arrangement details, and technical specifications. Design loads and parameters were established based on the site’s conditions and project requirements.
