AW Maritime were engaged to complete the a visual inspection and structural analysis of four jetties in the Williamstown Precinct in Victoria. The assets included:
- Workshop Jetty
- Commissioner’s Jetty
- Boyd St Pier
- Ferguson St Pier
AW Maritime utilized their own boat to undertake the visual inspections underneath the piers, and engaged divers to complete the below water inspections. We also completed visual inspections from above deck. We utilized the Ports Australia WSCAM ratings for all condition assessments. After this was complete, we mapped the defects across all assets and informed the client of any works requiring immediate repair. We then completed a structural assessment of each jetty, provided loading limit recommendations, and then recommended repairs with cost estimates.
