AW Maritime were engaged to prepare detailed design for repairs to the existing rock revetment at Douglas Parade, Newport located alongside the Yarra River. The scope for AW Maritime included:
- Site inspection
- Review of existing information including geotechnical slope stability study
- Basis of design
- Detailed design of revetment repairs including design waves and overtopping calculations.
- Documentation including drawings, bill of quanities and specification
- Cost estimates.
