AW Maritime were engaged for the detailed design of the Barwon Heads Main Jetty Rehabilitation Project.
Initially we completed a condition assessment of the jetty in 2017 which identified the areas requiring rehabilitation.
AW Maritime were engaged in 2018 for the detailed design and documentation of the jetty repair and renewal works. The rehabilitation scope included timber decking, timber capping, timber beams, steel frames, stairs, timber piles and steel handrails. We worked with Barwon Coast to prepare documentation suitable for tender and construction (drawings, technical specification, bill of quantities and annexures to AS 2124), assisted with the tender evaluation and provide site supervision and technical support during construction.
