  • Detailed design for major redevelopment

    Located on the Bellarine Peninsula, the Portarlington harbour services a number of commercial fishing vessels and is a popular local attraction. AW Maritime has completed the detailed design and tender documentation for a major redevelopment of the harbour.

  • Detailed design

    Detailed design of $10 million marina development including 216m straddle carrier jetty, 1400m2 hardstand and 235m of precast concrete wave screen wall.

  • Jetty rehabilitation project

    AW Maritime provided a detailed design for the Port Welshpool Jetty Rehabilitation project including a new structure to replace the demolished section comprising of timber piles and crossheads with a composite steel beam and concrete deck.

  • Detailed design and construction phase support

    AW Maritime was engaged by the Great Ocean Road Coast Committee to provide an assessment on the structural integrity of the original structure, and also consulted on options for its eventual replacement. AW Maritime provided detailed design and construction phase support for the project.

  • Detailed design of a wavescreen

    AW Maritime completed the detailed design of a 180m long precast concrete wavescreen for a ferry terminal located in Tawau, Malaysia.

  • Detailed design of a construction wharf

    Detailed design of a construction wharf for the import of 300t modules for the construction of an LNG facility in Oman.

  • Berthing and mooring analysis, detailed design, and construction phase support

    The Victorian Ports Corporation engaged AW Maritime to complete berthing and mooring analysis, detailed design, and construction phase support for upgrade works to accommodate large cruise ships.

  • Designing time-critical upgrades to the existing berthing and mooring infrastructure

    AW Maritime completed the design of wharf upgrade works in Webb Dock to accommodate the arrival of the Sea Road Mersey II, the first coastal ship in Australia to use LNG fuel-and-power technology.

  • Heavy lifting operations, supply and installation

    AW Maritime completed detailed structural analysis of existing wharf structures to assess heavy lifting operations associated with the demolition of existing container cranes and supply and installation of new cranes.

  • Detailed design of marine structures

    Detailed design of marine structures and hardstand area for the replacement of existing travel lift facilities at Hervey Bay with a new 300t travel lift, working in a D&C arrangement with Sydney Marina Construction Pty Ltd.
